RAY TRACING RENDERING

In addition to standard 3D rendering based on OpenGL, we use nVidia Optix Ray Tracing for highly realistic visualization of three-dimensional scenes.

Three-dimensional scene rendition based on ray tracing technology, state-of-the-art GPUs and CUDA technology deliver a truly realistic three-dimensional picture thanks to numerous real optical effects.

This is not just a matter of aesthetics because the human eye – or, rather, the brain – is good at detecting incongruities in 3D images, and, reversely, high fidelity facilitates the assessment of the quality of a dental restoration, which today must be perfect in all respects – anatomically, technically and aesthetically.

Despite the fact that the ray tracing technology is not new in the field of computer graphics, we still blaze the trail in its real-time applications to dental design programs.
