DENTAL ALGORITHMS

In addition to the universal geometric algorithms implemented in the CAD SDK, we also do some special dental tasks such as:

  • Automatic bite alignment (anatomically correct relative positioning of the opposite jaw models);

  • Segmentation of the jaw (recognition, extraction and identification of teeth);

  • Automatic determination of dental directions (directions of closure of teeth and jaws, external and internal directions of teeth, directions of correct insertion of restoration, etc.);

  • Determination and fine adjustment of contact areas of adjacent teeth;

  • Automatic construction of a junction line between the crown and the tooth preparation or gum;

  • Identification and elimination of unmillable areas, etc.
